Letterman's last several years weren't much better than Kimmel or Colbert. I used to really like watching him and his creativity, but he 'jumped the shark' and was overdue to retire for several years.TheForce wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2019 11:28 amGlad you brought that up about the late night shows. They are just as bad, if not worse than SNL. First thing out of their mouths..today President Trump this or that. Extremely lazy writing. I stopped watching late shows after Letterman and Leno were gone. After that I'd only tune in if there were a guest I wanted to see.

That SNL clip pretty much tanked too.
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!
Re: Eddie Murphy on "SNL"
Ever notice that the "left wing darling" Kimmel or his people, never ever bring up "The Man Show" with the beer swilling and large breasted women jumping on trampolines?
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Our jokes here in Chatterbox are funnier than SNL.

Maybe it was digitally altered? Either way the fake outrage is silly.

Re: Eddie Murphy on "SNL"
No sketches or any mentions of any kind this weekend about Nancy Pelosi during the SOTU Address. She sits there all night fidgeting and then tears up the speech - an absolute gold mine as far as sketch comedy or lampooning is concerned, and SNL doesn't have the guts to touch it.

That had to be a management call. As in NBC management. I can’t imagine LM telling the cast he personally was banning that Pelosi-Trump H-U-G-E visual historic grist from the SNL political comedy mill.
In fact I bet those writers slammed into that writer’s room the next day with all kinds of jokes and sketch scripts they’d thought of.
No. THAT decision had to be from Mr. Big (in Frostbite Falls.)
