That’s a both sides problem right now don’t you think?

Are you referring to the quest for power, not caring about dividing the country, or setting bad precedents?

Republicans aren't on a quest for power - they already have it, thanks to various elections. They control the executive branch, the Senate, a majority of governor seats, a majority of state legislatures, and the Supreme Court is majority conservative. The only thing Democrats control is the House of Representatives. Republicans have overwhelming held more power than Democrats for some time now, and now that the Dems finally got control of an institution, they're using their power to try to undo the 2016 election. These are the same Democrats who were up in arms when Trump, during the republican primaries, said he may or may not support the final results of the Presidential race. Their rhetoric at the time was that if you won't accept the results of an election, you are somehow undermining the very foundation of our democracy. Their tune quickly changed once Trump won and they're now engaged (and have been so since the day Trump got elected) in trying to take the President out. After 3 years of Russia-collusion went down in flames, they have moved on to Ukraine collusion. These people are deranged.

For me the two party system is the root of many of the problems mentioned in this thread. To win a binary choice election both sides demonize each other. No motivation to actually govern the only goal is to win elections. It’s all a quest for power. And it’s gonna get worse before it gets better.

Good points. Do Democrats really believe Trump is bed with Russia AND Ukraine?

No way that makes any sense at all. Russia and Ukraine are at major odds with one another.

So every person that defends Trump (who now has admitted breaking the law and is corroborated by two vetted members of the intelligence community) have simply abandoned belief in the constitution?

You all seem to be throwing junk at every politician in the past but fail to acknowledge that laws are laws and he has broken them.

Who cares about the motives when he's already admitted wrongdoing? These are just cotton candy filler comments to make you feel better about your treasonous candidate.

Let the hanging begin!

Yeah, Bryce.
He and RG, Trump’s AG, the Sondland dip, Pompus-eo, and other yes men - coordinated from Trump’s Oval Office and other haunts - following Trump’s orders. To pressure other countries’s leaders to investigate his democratic presidential likely - Joe Biden. And his son.

A CIA hero blew the whistle through proper channels - and drilled down on a Trump call to the new president of Ukraine. A transcript provided evidence of a quid pro quo. ‘You investigate the Bidens. I withhold military assistance against Russia ‘til you do.’ Which is against the US Constitution.

Since said call transcript, and under oath testimony in the House - Trump’s butt is in hot water. Further scalded by his public admissions - including asking China to investigate the Biden’s, as well.

And recently - there’s a second whistle blower. (Goody, goody!)

Also - the US ambassador to Ukraine fired for not going along with Trump’s wrongdoing, plus the wealthy Trump campaign donor-turned-diplomat, Sondland - will both be next to squawk about Trump’s wrongdoing - under oath - on capitol hill.

And - as pertinent documents are requested from the VP and other Trump toadies - the number of Americans favoring Trump’s Impeachment continues to grow.

Nancy Pelosi had to be pried by Trump’s blatant wrongdoing to
FINALLY start this formal impeachment inquiry. Thank God she did.

And thank you Trump and your family of enablers - for allowing your symptoms of mental illness to ultimately drive you to your political doom.

Yes. Yes. Yes!!!!!

Bring them on.

Honesty is their policy. Should be refreshing for lawmakers to hear.

BTW - will Hunter be able to testify behind closed doors - as Trump Jr. was allowed to do? Twice!

That is a complete and utter fabrication of fact.

It’s not. You know it. And you’re feeling threatened as evidence continues mount. Tough to have hitched you wagon to a mentally ill con artist. Enjoy the ride.

Oh, really. And where exactly in that transcript are these statements located? Please post the actual quotes.

I'm gonna start calling you SG Schiff.

My summary of Trump quid pro quo wrongdoing - which Bryce had indicated was not apparent - included my paragraph of abbreviated highlights.
Quotation marks left off on purpose because - NOT quoting. But indicated with other punctuation the ESSENCE of what Trump parlayed to Ukraine prez.

If you think not - you’re in the minority of all who have read the Trump quotes in the WHITE HOUSE call summary.

All you voters straining to back Trump’s words and actions can’t - so you’re concocting conspiracy theories, finding fault with Pelosi’s impeachment process, using president-assigned nicknames for democrats conducting House impeachment inquiry, etc. - instead.

I’m also awaiting the reveal of the WORD FOR WORD call transcript of that same infamous call.

BTW bmw - I think Adam Schiff and the other democratic committee chairs are doing an excellent job conducting this constitutional remedy of impeachment and possible removal from office of a president in violation of his oath.

Trump’s “Shifty” nickname for Schiff is now highly appropriate because the focused truth-to-power congressman has shifted into high gear the impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump.

And you pulled your "summary" out of thin air. I just re-read the transcript. NOWHERE is there any mention whatsoever of military aid. Bryce is correct. For you to come in here and state as fact that the transcript provided evidence of this is an outright fabrication of fact.
