New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

The top law enforcement officer of The United States of America breaking the law in a most public “no show” for the entire world to see - because he does not want to submit to questioning from a House staff attorney - is reprehensible. This AG mocked our great nation’s Constitution. JaBarr the Hut chicken-shitted all over that hallowed document - The Law of the Land.

Why shouldn’t he answer questions? There is nothing unusual about Congress conducting its Constitutionally mandated oversight of the executive branch of government. Others called before Congress to testify in a public hearing have been questioned by a US House of Representatives staff attorney and the people’s elected Congressman and Congresswomen. Why shouldn’t The Attorney General sit and answer questions in that same configuration?

He knows what evidence he’s hiding for Trump - which is why he dared NOT answer those questions from a staff attorney. In addition - he was shaken, embarrassed, and angered by his verbal trips and face plant falls during his Senate testimony the day before.

What a disgraceful example for The United States Of America, our Constitution, our war dead, and all law enforcement officers sworn to uphold the law. JaBarr the Hut is as dishonorable as Trump - upholding HIM rather than the law.

All Americans - regardless of their interest or disinterest in party politics - need to understand WHY our US Constitution states that we shall have three branches of government - legislative, judicial, and executive (Congress, the courts, President) which are mandated by The Constitution to be co-equal in power, and to CHECK power and keep the co-equal BALANCE of power among one another.

WHY?

Because the authors of The Constitution were willing to fight a bloody revolutionary war against The British to finally free themselves and other colonists from the absolute rule of one man, King George.

Currently - with our highest ranking law enforcement officer - AG Barr - REFUSING to obey The Law Of The Land (US Constitution) and testify under oath before Congress as it carries out its legal mandate of oversight (checking, balancing) of the executive branch (the President) - we are witnessing one man, Trump - trying to become king.

This is the crux of the high tension, CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS we are watching. A mentally ill president - bullying to be king - and weak sycophantic members of his unpatriotic gang - following his orders - ultimately to their personal peril - and more importantly to the peril of our enviable form of government.

Every American needs to understand that we are now in a radically dangerous moment for our country. And I haven’t even mentioned the other current Trump-directed lawlessness underway: ignoring precedent by refusing to give the unredacted Mueller report to the appropriate House committee, refusing the congressional request for six years of Trump’s tax returns, refusing to (fill in this blank) as the future becomes present - and Trump continues to thumb his nose at what the founding fathers had in mind to prevent one man’s sick power grab.
