So I'm a little confused after reading the article.
The reason given is that "Everyone has to be uniform with the league and the other 31 teams."
I don't seem to remember other teams wearing WCF patches on their uniforms. I don't see the Lions wearing GSH on their sleeves like the Bears do. I honestly don't see the difference here.

Keep in mind too that Colin Kaepernick wore socks that had pigs in police caps on them. That certainly wasn't in "uniform with the league and the other 31 teams."
