Sooooo, lets see some documentation.

I'll give you some...
In fact, as of July 9, whites were 54 percent of the 440 police shooting victims this year whose race was known, blacks were 28 percent and Hispanics were 18 percent, according to The Washington Post’s ongoing database of fatal police shootings.
Typically, activists and the media measure police actions against population ratios. Given that blacks are 13 percent of the nation’s population, a 26 to 28 percent black share of police gun fatalities looks disproportionate. But policing should be measured against crime rates, not population percentages, because law enforcement today is data-driven. Officers are deployed to where people are most being victimized, and that is primarily in minority neighborhoods.
In America’s 75 largest counties, comprising most of the nation’s population, blacks constituted 62 percent of all robbery defendants in 2009, 57 percent of all murder defendants, and 45 percent of all assault defendants — but roughly 15 percent of the population in those counties. In New York, where blacks make up 23 percent of the city’s population, blacks commit three-quarters of all shootings and 70 percent of all robberies, according to victims and witnesses. (Whites, by contrast, commit less than 2 percent of all shootings in New York City and 4 percent of all robberies, though they are nearly 34 percent of the population.)

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

We're not talking ALL "police shooting victims" in any and all circumstances - such as JUSTIFIED use of deadly force.

We're talking UNJUSTIFIED use of deadly force - against African American drivers during extremely high numbers of traffic stops over their lifetimes. Males and females - though mostly males - not brandishing weapons - who end up dead at the hands of law enforcement officers when pulled over "driving while black".

You know - like the emergency room MD's experiences. He was working to save the lives of the wounded Dallas police officers after the lone gunman ambushed them during the recent peaceful protest. But later - when asked by a reporter - he recounted his own learned FEAR of police stemming from the extremely high number of times he'd been pulled over for "driving while black". It's the same phenomenon we've heard other black citizens describe: African American doctors, lawyers, veterans, congressmen, clergy, entertainers, professors, businessmen, judges, athletes, etc. Even President Obama - another black man - has talked about the discriminatory practice by racist law enforcement. (Also noting that racist police officers do not make up the vast majority of fine professional police officers across the U-S.)

But as we see on this board - non African Americans often deny the racist practice is ubiquitous. And they twist, turn, and squirm - brandishing twistable, turnable, statistics - because they don't believe anyone's own reality is valid - but their own.

By the way - the source of those stat-laden quotes Bryce copies here are from an opinion piece, not a news article. Opinions based on the content of the author's new book for sale. I suggest you use the link Bryce has provided to read her full opinion.

So what do you want to do about it? You've been ranting along... Solutions?

Actually I think we've already seen the start of the solution. It's the "cameras everywhere" generation. Everything good cops do - and everything bad cops do - is documented for all the world to see. Body cams, smart phones, dash cams, cameras above intersections, security cameras all over the place. The mice play when the cat's away, but these days the cat's always around. Every rat will find they're trapped. Including every cop killer and all other people who break the law. Big Brother is taking your picture. Say "cheese" all you mice. Then remember to be on your best behavior.

LOL opinion piece? Pretty much everything you've written in this thread has been your opinion. Suppositions and hyperbole run amuck. The Author of the quoted "opinion piece" has backed up her opinion with facts and numbers. Something you are unable to do.

Has a racist cop ever killed a black person? I'm sure. Is it systemic? Not even close. If black lives really matter, energies could be channeled toward the groups that are responsible for killing more black people than any other. Gangs.

Bellow on, Bryce.

The world is instantly connected via social media. What is systemic will show itself to be systemic. Even those who won't accept decades of first person testimony in volumes will now find it difficult to deny what they see and hear with their own eyes and ears.

Keep pushing your stats, my friend. As we've often observed with numbers organized into various categories, comparisons, and contrasts, selectively displayed to bolster opinions, agendas, and predictions - including omissions of numbers that detract or disprove - stats are easily manipulated.

But of course - you're well aware of this, Bryce.

Bellow on.

One sees a glaring lack of physical evidence such as personal anecdotes, numbers, articles or anything except false poetic taunting from you...

You two fellows are downright pathetic. But please, continue. I enjoy a bit of mirth. At your expense.

Yup, it's the cops that are racist...
Race agitators in Milwaukee used the police shooting of an armed black man to burn down their city and attack white people.

Several videos show white drivers being stopped in the middle of the street and the “protesters” attempting to pull them out of their vehicles.

“They’re beating every white person!” one of the agitators shouted in the video. “They jumpin’ every white person.”

Agitators could be seen destroying cars. They hit this one with cinder blocks and looted the truck, leaving its contents strewn on the street.

“Black power in this mother f*cker, man!” one person shouted.

Others bragged on Twitter they were going out to “loot white owned businesses” and waved a gun in front of his cell phone camera. They even created the “MilwaukeeLootCrew” hashtag.
Yeah, racist cops are the problem in this country. :rollin
