Trump's piss poor judgment

Post by MWmetalhead » Sun May 08, 2016 1:31 pm

Ideas such as the one contained in the linked article below (which he reaffirmed on multiple TV shows this weekend) are sheer stupidity and would send the U.S. economy down the tubes, Greek style:

I would've hoped someone as wealthy as Agent Orange would possess a more sophisticated understanding of how capital markets operate. The strategy he suggests is one commonly used for corporate junk bonds. To even suggest such a maneuver should be used for treasury notes - even as a back-up plan - is absurdity at its finest.

Get ready for a sudden and dramatic rise in interest rates if Trump becomes President.

Until I read this article, I would've told all of you that there is a next to zero chance of me voting for Hillary. Now, I may have to reconsider that position.

I mentioned this in an another thread, but I so serious it probably deserves it's own thread...

Anyway, Trump is veering left now, and he has always been very unstable.

Comments like these could sink the USA even before the election.

I heard a good joke - When you read one of Donald's books it always centers around chapter 13.

I'm not to the point where I'd vote for Hillary, but I'd rather have Hillary than Trump. Under no circumstances should we give him the White House. I would only vote for Hillary if 1) somehow Trump made Michigan close AND 2) there is no other acceptable candidate.
Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.

Lyin'Orange is just saying print your way out of it now. While that is better than outright default, just saying that is another bad idea.

So we have a choice of:

Borrow, spend, default...
Or
Borrow, spend, print...

What a nut.

Or close the tax shelters and recapture corporation's responsibilities to the U.S. That's nearly $800 billion in taxes they are robbing from you and me. If you are serious about deficit, then get serious about this...
Microsoft Corp., Apple Inc., Google Inc. and five other tech firms now account for more than a fifth of the $2.10 trillion in profits that U.S. companies are holding overseas, according to a Bloomberg News review of the securities filings of 304 corporations. The total amount held outside the U.S. by the companies was up 8 percent from the previous year, though 58 companies reported smaller stockpiles...

Here is an interesting article on how Trump has won and may win the Presidency by Scott Adams and Dilbert.
