I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

Sen. Bob Corker of Tennessee and Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa have both shot down the idea. Both would prefer to stay in the senate.

Wise move on their part.
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

I'd like to see the Congresswoman from Tennessee.

There are numerous unconfirmed reports this afternoon that it is a done deal and that Mike Pence is the choice.

He'd be an uneven choice... He's hard right and his positions don't mesh real great with Trumps. This is a Manafort move...bmw wrote:There are numerous unconfirmed reports this afternoon that it is a done deal and that Mike Pence is the choice.

Pence is a career politician who has said (and written) some ignorant things during his political career. I am not a big fan of his. He didn't even crack the 50 percent threshold in his 2012 election in Indiana. Finally, he was (is?) a big supporter of the TPP.
Now, all that being said, the tea party wing of the GOP generally likes him, the social conservatives like him and the establishment/donor class GOP types like him. So, from a unify-the-party standpoint, this will likely prove to be a decent pick.

Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.
