DeSantis has been re-elected as well. Florida is exceptionally quick at counting votes. From what I've seen, Republicans have done extremely well in Miami-Dade County.

So the opposite is happening this time around in some states - the early/mail-in vote is being reported first, making it look like Democrats are doing well.

That was the case last time too. It depends on the state whether they count the votes early like in Florida and apparently North Carolina or they do like we do in Michigan and wait for the polls to close before being able to count any early vote. These are legal differences and not a choice by anybody. Ohio was going Biden for quite awhile last time.
CNN has called Indiana for Todd Young.
