At 11:22 am, freep.com shows a 7-6 US House advantage for Republicans. Aren’t all seats up today??? How is possible that 13 have been decided?
Uncontested.
Oh, duh! :red

My district might as well be uncontested. I voted for Debbie Dingell. I'm going to go out on a limb and GUARANTEE her reelection.
I am surprised you voted for Dingell.
Why? Jeff Jones is a joke, and she isn't crazy liberal. I also voted for Yousef Rabhi as state rep.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a line out the door and around the building when I first went to vote. NEVER have seen that before and I'm in a predominately TRUMP area. Even with all the absentee and early voting (I know folks who actually voted early on SUNDAY!!), I was wondering if the polling location would be barren landscape today. But no, fully engulfed in folks voting. Will be really interesting to see the totals.

For what is worth, I was 189 today and I went just before noon. This is in Ann Arbor, so I'm assuming there were a lot of early voters, but who knows.

Where I vote, I was # 666 in 2008 and 7-hundred and something in 2016. This county went 2:1 Trump, will be interesting to see what my number is. I usually vote around the same time every election.

Why don't you guys vote early? I studied my ballot at home over a few days where I had all my notes and info on the propositions. I actually filled it out while I was drinking a beer. Yesterday I dropped it off at a drive-thru ballot return. I saw today on-line that it was received.

I'm not sure there is a more appropriate voter number for 2008...

I like voting in person... just a preference.

I wouldn't read too much into it. Absentee voting is at an all-time high.

I thought about it, even checked the locations and times available. But the more I heard about the H*** volumes voting absentee and early, the more I though the polling locations would be empty today.

I didn't want all those poll workers to be bored all day.

I get voting in person. I always enjoyed it too, and I voted every election, off-year, primaries, etc. I truly enjoyed the experience and felt a true sense of civic pride those days. My wife would always wonder why I would want to wait in line and get around all those people. This year I agreed with her. Don't want to be close to strangers and touch anything they have been touching.

During non pandemic conditions, I would always vote in person. Never had to wait more than 6 people deep.

Out of 1800 potential voters 400 mailed in ballots were sent.

At 5:00 pm no parking spaces, and 20 minute wait. Usually no wait. H*** rural turn out.

I was dropping off my ballot.
