Trump Booed at Libertarian National Convention

While I consider myself as being somewhere between a Conservative and a Libertarian politically, the Libertarian party itself is a joke. The fact that Trump was booed by that group isn't surprising, and frankly isn't particularly newsworthy other than for the fact that Trump isn't used to being booed like that.

Personally I'm more fascinated by his rally in the Bronx and people like AOC's reaction.

The underlying reason he was there is that Kennedy has a punchers chance of pulling anti-Vax folks from Trump. The Trump campaign has been telegraphing they are terrified of this for several weeks now. Joke of a party or not he really had no business being there. He’s not a libertarian… about as far as you can get from it really.

My friend who was on the convention floor as a delegate told me that they have chosen their first gay candidate to run for president.

I've found only very little information regarding his professional and educational background.

I do agree with some of his political positions and disagree with others.

He’ll likely make 270 EV’s worth and he “viable” by September. Trump’s appearance there didn’t sink RFK. RFK not being a true believer sank RFK.

Stormy might've earned a larger share of the popular vote this coming election than the person they actually picked!

As for Trump, his vociferous support for unlimited executive privilege, tariffs, tight immigration restrictions and qualified immunity along with his opposition to entitlement reform places him squarely at odds with Libertarian Party principles. He also appointed Jeff Sessions as his first Attorney General, someone whom Libertarians despise.
