Let's hope other high profile Republicans who are fed up with him also follow suit.
Ryan also comes from a constituency of conservative Chicago Catholic leaders. Could there be cracks in support from traditional faith?
I've got to wonder who can support Trump after this week in court.

It would take a Republican with a backbone to speak up. Ryan is out of office, so he'll speak. Romney isn't running again, and the GOP threw out possibly the most conservative Republican in Congress, Liz Cheney who calls it like it is. The cult leaders entire former cabinet has too.
But the Cruz's, Rubio's, etc., etc., etc., aren't gonna say a word.

Ryan has pull with older Midwest voters. This election will be won or lost in swing states. Florida and Texas are write offs.

I think Palin is the only living Republican that has been on a presidential ticket, winning or losing, that will vote for Trump. This year would have been a slam dunk for a standard Republican, but instead the party is putting forward an anti-American petty criminal.Honeyman wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 9:12 pmIt would take a Republican with a backbone to speak up. For whatever it’s worth Geoff Duncan the former Lieutenant Governor from Georgia during the 2020 election announced he won’t vote for Trump either. Ultimately Trump will go down in flames and the GOP will follow. The test will be how badly they burn.
Donald Trump… In your guts you know he’s nuts.

I am not convinced of Biden’s victory. Remember that so many of this protesters will not vote for Biden.
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

Those protesters make up a tiny fraction of young people overall. As a matter of fact recent surveys have shown the conflict is rather low priority for them. I wouldn’t get nervous because a fairly small number of people make a fuss.MotorCityRadioFreak wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 12:41 amI am not convinced of Biden’s victory. They may not vote, but they will not vote for Trump... he's even worse on the Gaza genocide issue. And when faced with the aspect of "yeah, Biden sent some weapons to Israel, but Trump will send more.. and more money.. and rail on about how great is was to wipe out Gaza" they might just hold their nose and...MotorCityRadioFreak wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 12:41 amI am not convinced of Biden’s victory. Doubtful... not after they read things like this..
RFK Jr. - Any other nation would have leveled Gaza if attached like Israel was on Oct. 7

You may be overestimating the intelligence of some voters sir.
Re: Paul Ryan won't vote for Trump. "Character is too important".
It seems that more voices are starting to come out and say they won't vote for Trump this time. Now I have no doubt that his core will ignore this but I wonder if the independent and undecided voters, fence sitters if you will, will pay attention to this when the general election comes up.

If it gets harped on 6 ways to Sunday and they start having Ryan appear in ads in say Wisconsin? Could work…zzand wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 11:10 amTrying in desperation to get the thread back on track, it seems that more voices are starting to come out and say they won't vote for Trump this time. Bang. The Trump supporters don't care what a deplorable individual they are electing to put into office. The independents will decide the fate of this country.zzand wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 11:10 amTrying in desperation to get the thread back on track, it seems that more voices are starting to come out and say they won't vote for Trump this time.
