Funny clip, but how many UN resolutions were against Iraq at the time? How many countries supported those resolutions??

How many did Ukraine have leading up to Putin's invasion?

75 years old and he misspoke. I doubt he was confessing in any way.
These things happen and make great sound bites.

But his little "Iraq too" quip afterwards, even if a joke, was in really poor taste.

This was in poor taste but January 6th was okay? Give me a fucking break.

Worth noting Congress approved the Iraq invasion before it happened. That approval included a not insignificant number of Democrats.
Somehow I doubt Putin got permission from an independent branch of Government.

Bush did get approval from Congress for Iraq, but I think the word behind the scenes was get this go-ahead this so we could get the UN inspections going. Saddam agreed and allowed inspection instead of war.

However, once the UN inspections were progressing, we told the inspectors to GET OUT because we were going in.

Why not let the inspections play out? Arrgh!!! Even Rush Limbaugh sounded upset over this.

I wrote a letter to G W Bush and said don't do it, and to let the inspection finish.

How is it I could know that it was not a well thought out idea, but GWB didn't?

Maybe I should run for president... LOL

PS I think this Cheney was mostly behind the Iraq war. I have zero respect for the Cheney clan. G W Bush and Biden are very subject giving in to pressure, unlike Trump.
