It'll probably take a couple years for this to really rear it's head, but I'd bet there would be more than a few cases of biological males realizing it's an easier way to scholarship money and titles if they can compete on the "female" teams. You already had a few cases (Connecticut?) but the impacts have largely gone unnoticed.

It will be interesting how it impacts Title IX programs and spending. Do you just eliminate it all, or do you try and divvy up what's there to the 97 genders to make it all "fair"??

In research on muscle mass, researchers found that while the men pretending to women that were taking female hormones lost muscle mass and women pretending to be men gained muscle mass, the men pretending to be women had markedly greater muscle mass than the women pretending to be men.

There is also research that supports men still holding performance advantages over women.
