So, 1 in about 100 offenders arrested to date was a far left activist.
Sorry, but scores of far right nuts converged on D.C. with predetermined intent to cause violence. No "egging on" from the left was required.

I was referring to those who were doing the physical break in with force. BIG difference.

If you were taking a test one answer is correct.1.That changes nothing. They were still right wing folks.
2.That changes nothing. They were still mostly right wing folks.
I no longer directly engage trolls

I was referring to the people breaking down the doors and windows. Try to keep up.craig11152 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 9:21 amIf you were taking a test one answer is correct.1.That changes nothing. They were still right wing folks.

Mr. Treason is in DBR. Hallelujah.
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

Re: BLM riot at the Capitol
I know this post is cheesy, but this "us vs them" framework is so toxic. No matter our political leanings, most of us share basic commonalities. These commonalities *should* include contempt for violence, particularly threats for violence against lives, livelihoods, and property (in my view, prioritized in that order). They should also include the protection of peaceful First Amendment rights to those we have vehement disagreements. The events of January 6th were atrocious, criminal, and according to the Department of Justice and the Joint Chiefs of Staff, seditionist and insurrectionist. Those who partook in violence or broke federal law by entering trespassing into the Capitol should be held accountable and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. This also applies to those who pose further credible threats under the auspices of due process.
For those who have invested passionate interest in the 2020 election, or BLM, need to recognize that public opinion tends to shift away from perceived aggressors. On the left, the teachings of Dr. King Jr., Congressman Lewis, Congressman Cummings, and even the Reverend Al Sharpton preach the importance of peaceful civil disobedience and "good trouble." Many revered civil rights activists have been arrested for speaking truth to power, however, they still managed to always try to fight oppression peacefully. On the right, I have great respect for Representatives Liz Cheney, Peter Meijer, and to an extent, Leader McCarthy for acknowledging the wrongs done by their colleagues and their supporters.
It should be incumbent on all of us to reflexively condemn bad actors, rather than deflect, make excuses, or point fingers to the other side. It also should be incumbent on us to adapt to, rather than reject, new information, even if that information contradicts our initial conclusions. We can also condemn actions of leaders we support, without completely disavowing them. It's totally fair for our reactions to be proportionate to offenses; and that the degree of proportionality can vary reasonable from person-to-person. Finally, we should also be able to freely admit when we, ourselves, are in the wrong. That's where we make our greatest growth, and how we can ensure we become a better person today than we were yesterday.

I'm here for a good, hearty debate, to agree and disagree respectfully, and commiserate on the current state of terrestrial radio.
