I havent found an article yet. I heard it from someone who lived there at the time and stated that the first thing he did after election was force privately owned utility providers into public ownership.Rate This wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 7:33 pmThe socialism over here (“Democratic Socialism”) isn’t even real socialism. What Sanders and Warren are really into is extremely heavily regulated capitalism...
Actual socialism requires ownership of entire sectors of the economy through nationalization of entire industries... nobody is calling for that. They aren’t even calling to turn the post office back into the postal department for Christ sakes... socialism my ass...
Ive also heard him say he disagrees with United Way because he believed all charitible work be done solely by the government.
Please explain to me what people see in this guy.

If education is too expensive, then go to a cheaper school. Supply and demand. Maybe become try becoming an intern to see if you like it first.

But I dont want it fully controlled by the government. I see nothing to convince me it wont be rationed or have more restricted care/research.
I had no issues with my insurance until the government passed the Affordable Care Act. Insurance companies left the market and everyone left standing raised prices. I wish people understood cause and effect. Most people know the VA system is poor. Why do we believe a similar system that needs to cover everyone wont be.
Stop giving so much power to the FDA. I dont like Canadas health care system but I like their easier, cheaper access to medicine. They dont order pharmacies to regulate medicine. Instead, they say that they MUST sell it. Pharmacies and consumers both win. They get more customers, and more sales. Better for business and consumers.
And guess what? A Canadian told me that all the best doctors are outside of the public system. If you want the best care, get private insurance.
The problem isnt bad health care. The problem is that its too regulated as it is-especially in regards to medicine availability. Things were NOT as bad before Obamacare and as someone with pre-existing conditions, i should know. And no insurance company denied me because of those conditions either.
As for college? Ask Lizard Warren why she suddenly wants free college and to have college debts forgiven AFTER she herself earned $400,000 a year as a prof?
I doubt even she believes it can work. But she panders to low-information voters. I wonder how corrupt that system will be. Hopefully it also wont be as broken as the VA.
