Just for fun

Things have gotten very serious in here lately so let's focus on an interesting fun political topic for a change. An article in the New Yorker, written tongue in cheek, suggests that after 240 years we admit our Self Rule Experiment a failure and rejoin the British Empire. Either Prince William or Harry would live in the White House and be the head of our government and report to the Queen directly. The few parts of our government that work would stay in place, the rest would be gone. Our military would stay in place, our Congress would be reduced to a body that suggests to our "Head" things that he may do to improve things but their greed and power would be gone...When considering the sorry choices we have not a bad idea really....Again, all tongue in cheek but something to think about and have fun with....

I don't think the world needs another country with bad food and bad teeth.

Plus, most of the people in the Senate would look horrid with those white wigs.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.
