Some of you guys were so sure one was coming (Bryce I'm looking at you) but in a statement only the FBI knew the contents of, Director James Comey announced that no reasonable prosecutor would bring charges in a case like this despite some minor statute violations. That's a major blow to your hopes...

Just because she wasn't indicted doesn't mean she couldn't have or shouldn't have been. The fat lady hasn't sang on this yet. It ain't over, till it's over.

At Comey's presser, if you read between the lines, he basically said that she did break the law but none of the prosecutors that work for his boss would bring charges. He even went on to warn others that if they do the same thing they would and could face charges.

If you don't think that Lynch knew what he was going to say when she said she would follow his recommendation, (as well as Obama when he agreed to do a campaign stop with HilLIEry) I have some lake front property in Hamtramck to sell ya.

So if these were Conservatives protecting Cruz or something they wouldn't do exactly the same thing you are accusing the current folks of doing to "protect" their candidate? I've got lakefront property in the Sahara to sell you if you think your side would behave any differently.

No I'm saying if the roles were reversed and a Republican Attorney General and FBI Director had found nothing to charge a Republican with in the exact same situation would you be equally outraged? It's a hypothetical so no need to avoid the question by pretending I'm giving you a real story...
