Buckeyes suck

No way...NO WAY is this team even close to the 4th best team in the nation. Maryland is dominating these guys in Columbus. They'll probably survive today, but their OL is very suspect, QB is mediocre, and Day is an idiot. PSU will beat them, Michigan will destroy them.

LSU appears to be garbage too.

OSU covered the spread. Against an undefeated team. I'd say this post is a bit pre-mature.

Did you watch the game?

Yes. After falling behind early 10-0, they went on to outscore Maryland 37-7. OSU favored by 19.5. They won by 20.

This win will move them up to #3.

You didn't watch the game.

Can you comment on any bad play Maryland decisions? The way the first half ended? The PIs not called against OSU. I'll give you a while to search the net to answer the questions because.....

You didn't watch the game.

I had the game on the background while visiting family today (they're from Ohio and I wouldn't have otherwise turned on the game had that they not been here). Yes, I did closely watch how the 2nd half ended. Yes, it is beyond baffling how Maryland decided it was a good idea to complete a pass in bounds with no timeouts left. Frankly, I thought they should have went for it on 4th down earlier when they were up 7-0. Didn't watch the 3rd quarter as we went out for a walk. Came back to see OSU seemingly dominating the game by the 4th quarter.

Bottom line: You said they're nowhere close to 4th. You also said Maryland was dominating them. Yeah, FOR A QUARTER. Well guess what? They play 4 quarters. And Ohio State didn't merely "survive." They ultimately went on to blow out Maryland.

Do the Lions suck because they had 1 bad quarter (third quarter) against the Packers on their Thursday night game?

I'll go on the record and predict that OSU beats Penn State by at least 10.

Maryland completely dominated them the entire first half. OSU only scored because of a terrible decision by little Tua on the pick 6. The play calling in critical situations, like the 4th and 1, was beyond awful. The end of the half was inexcusable for any NCAA team. Maryland should have led by 14 at the half. An underdog team in Columbus cannot afford those errors. And the Terps were not a ranked team, so your talk of "undefeated Maryland" is a bit unfair. ND choked away their game against these pricks.

I can name 7 to 10 teams I think are better, or will wind up ranked higher than OSU. And the only reason OSU could beat PSU by ten is that Franklin is actually dumber than Day.

The Terps should've thrown it to the sidelines with 12 to 10 seconds before halftime you got to get 3 I stopped watching when it was 34-17. Flipped over to LSU VS Mizzo and the final minute OU VS Texas.

So really what you seem to be saying, honeyman, is Maryland is a team prone to poor decision making and poor coaching that causes them to fall behind in what should otherwise be close games.

Isn't that classic Maryland football? :)

There are probably five or more teams that could reasonably be ranked no. 4. OSU belongs in that group. I think OSU is better than Florida State. I think Oklahoma deserves to move up to no 3. Texas still belongs in the top 10 despite losing, in my opinion.

Plenty of boneheaded coaches in the Big Ten. Nebraska's coach made some boneheaded decisions a week ago, and P.J. Fleck made some boneheaded decisions last night.

OSU was fortunate to beat ND as their biggest victory. You saw how good ND is yesterday.

In my mind, all these teams are better:

Michigan
Georgia
Washington
Oregon
Oklahoma
Florida State
Texas

Perhaps:

USC
Alabama
Oregon State
Washington State

Florida State just beat a 2-4 team by basically the same score that Ohio State beat 5-0 Maryland by.

FSU also won at Clemson and beat LSU by 3 TDs. Both better wins than OSU over ND.

Not to mention, Maryland 5-0 record was a complete mirage if you look at their schedule. The best team they played was arguably MSU.

I was too lazy to check the Notre Dame - Louisville score before making my earlier posts. I regret not doing so now.

Ohio State somehow moved up to #3 in the AP poll. How on earth are they ranked higher than Oklahoma? Good lord.

My rankings:
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. Oklahoma
4. Oregon
5. Penn State
6. Ohio State
7. Washington
8. Florida State
9. Texas
10. USC
