Thing is he sounds similar to every other play by play person in the country… I don’t know if that’s an upgrade or not. It’s certainly different than what we are used to.

I didn't see this one coming I thought that they would go cheap and hire from within Jason Benetti was a great hire.

Benetti is a great announcer. I too am surprised by this. While he's versatile, I don't believe he's called a single hockey game before.
