Interesting on a day when State improved to 4-7, it's fans are obsessing over Michigan.

I believe OSU will win next week. They've lost two years in a row, Michigan's football program has issues beyond issues, I just don't think the focus is there.
Nah, it's all bullshit. Don't be such a negative Nancy.
Oh, I'm not trying to be negative. I just have concerns. I would love to see Michigan put a hurtin' on that ass.

Michigan struggled with Illinois in Ann Arbor last year, winning 19-17, before blowing out ohio state by 22 the next week.
I hope so, I have a free ticket and want my moneys worth. When it's OSU the entire team could be Charles Manson clones and that's A-OK as long as we win.

KICKING myself on that game! Mizzou has won me money all year, saw the spread was 9 and thought it was a trap. Only bet I got on them is a parlay with MSU +22....good luck with that.

Washington survived a very close game against the Cougars, preserving their perfect record. The Huskies won via walk-off FG.

The CFP could show how fucked up it is if FSU beats Louisville, and Bama beats Georgia. In that case, Georgia would be eliminated from the playoff. FSU would get destroyed by whoever is lucky enough to draw them, while the best team in college football would sit home.

If Georgia loses to Bama, Georgia will no longer be the best team in college football.

Solution: Don't lose to Alabama.

Everyone wanted college football to be more like the NFL. Well, this is the result. Don't lose when the games mean the most. This will especially be true starting next year with the 12 team playoff when the "better teams" will start losing to lower seeds more frequently. Just like the NFL.

I can see your point Robert, and would agree if all teams played a balanced schedule. They don't. You cannot tell me that FSU plays a schedule remotely close to Georgia's. And Saturday, Georgia has to beat Bama to get in, FSU has to beat Louisvile, a team that lost to Pittsburgh by 17.

The CFP is supposed to have the best 4 teams in college football. If FSU is in the playoff and Georgia isn't, it's a joke.

Agreed.

That was the beauty and frustration of the old way we'd figure out who won a Natty. But too many weren't happy with the both the money being left on the table (prior to establishing conference championship games) and the beauty contest part of determining a champion and here we are.
