Roger Craig who helped the Detroit Tigers win their last World Series against the San Diego Padres in October of 1984 has died at 93 years old. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Craig_(baseball)

Craig was a big proponent of the split-finger fastball. Once he showed it to Jack Morris a Hall of Fame pitcher was created.
