Damn; lots of news today in the world of politics and now sports.
Aaron Rodgers traded to the Jets. Here's the full trade:
Jets get:
-Aaron Rodgers
-15th Overall pick in this year's draft
-170th Overall pick in this year's draft
Packers get:
-13th Overall pick in this year's draft
-42nd Overall pick in this year's draft
-207th Overall pick in this year's draft
-either a first round or 2nd round pick in the 2024 draft dependent on how many snaps Rodgers takes.
At first glance, it doesn't look like the Packers are getting much. They move up 2 spots in this year's first round from 15th to 13th, fall from 170th to 207th in another one of their picks, and get a 1st or 2nd round pick next year. So basically, this year's stuff amounts to a wash and they ended up with nothing more than 1st or 2nd round pick next year.

I enjoy Aaron Rodgers's final game since the Lions beat him twice and denied the Packers the final playoff spot.

Agreed! I love the fact his last game wearing a Packers jersey was a loss at home to the Lions, thereby preventing a playoff berth for Green Bay.
I also agree that his departure is no big loss for Green Bay. Public comments by team management/ ownership to the contrary were "kayfabe."
