It's possible that something happened with Rosen AFTER the contract was signed, but Warde doesn't get the benefit of the doubt after the Pearson debacle.

....and everything else. Go back to the initial post link https://www.michigandaily.com/sports/sp ... -failures/ to refresh your memory.

Add in the latest bullshit with Jimmy looking for another job after promising the school he wouldn't, and the assorted NCAA violations.

But Warde is good at saying nothing and trying to sweep it all under the rug which is obviously why he still is in his position.

I can’t blame Jim for wanting to be successful in the NFL again. I am sure there’s a large part of him that wants that Super Bowl championship.

Except that Jim doesn't want to go to the NFL. He needed leverage to get the lazy obese Warde to act (or actually have Santa do Warde's job).

That runs contrary to the reporting with the Broncos job.

No, it doesn't. A zoom interview is a mutual beneficial arrangement.

He also contacted Carolina about their HC position. This was widely reported and is common knowledge to everyone except Harbaugh blowers like yourself.

He was supposedly in talks with them and strongly being pursued. We will see the same damn thing next season.

Do you understand what leverage is?

Do you understand what “this won’t happen every year means?” So far he’s on a 2 year streak.

Harbaugh reminds me of legendary NBA coach Larry Brown:

https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sport ... 851546007/

(Fortunately, U-M's administration is much more patient than deceased Pistons owner, Bill Davidson.)

Good reporting by Angelique.

Key passage:
Michigan received a draft of an NCAA Notice of Allegations on Jan. 5 that spelled out alleged Level II violations during a 2021 COVID recruiting dead period and, more significantly, a Level I allegation, the most severe, against Harbaugh for lying to NCAA investigators. Harbaugh, according to a source, will not admit on or off the record that he had lied to the NCAA.

This has been the holdup in contract discussions between Michigan and Harbaugh regarding a long-term deal. Michigan has been attempting to work toward a negotiated resolution in the NCAA matter the last couple weeks. This would be the preferred outcome to avoid a protracted process that could last well into the year or beyond.
