U-M vs. MSU

I've gotta say, MSU looks unusually good (compared to their earlier games this season) so far tonight. They've made some big plays. Thorne looks very focused and is playing well.

Michigan needs to get a passing game going. They're not going to be able to run the ball up MSU's ass like they did against Penn State.

Much better play calling for U-M this last drive.

For me, it's too close. I've been telling my family today not to get cocky. Even if MSU only wins one game a season, and it's the Wolverines, the season is a success for them.

Hopefully Michigan turns it up a little more.

That offside penalty during the punt against U-M enraged me.

With :50 and all three timeouts, Michigan potentially could've put more points on the scoreboard before the half. THANK GOD the defense kept MSU off the scoreboard.

Michigan needs to overcome its fear of passing the football while inside the red zone. But hey, if we can keep scoring field goals while also forcing Sparty to turn over the ball on downs, that'll work.

Well, it is if the Chik-Fil-A bowl is good enough for you 😆

Michigan is playing too conservative for my liking once they are within FG range. Only 1 TD out of the last four trips to the red zone, too.

MSU is going to throw long distance passes. Hope our defensive backs continue to cover efficiently. They looked really good on MSU's prior possession.

I think it sticks in Harbaugh's craw what happened last season. They've nailed his ass a couple times. He isn't taking any chances.

Never leave the door open for MSU. They WILL take advantage.

Some pointspreads I saw were 22 1/2 and 23. It ended 29-7. Might be some unhappy UM fans after the game.

Great win for Michigan. Wasn't a flashy win, but defensively, U-M was superb. The late INT was icing on the cake.

A sloppy MSU special teams crew gave Michigan an assist, of course.

Kudos to Jake Moody for his 5 of 5 field goal performance.

Michigan was more proficient running the ball than I expected. McCarthy looked especially good on a couple of his scrambles.

No way in hell would I have placed any serious money on the "over" at 22 1/2 given this rivalry's recent history.

Offensively, MSU was awful in the 2nd half. Defensively, they played OK, especially when Michigan was in or near the red zone. Could've easily been a 30+ point margin of victory.

A very weak coaching performance by Melvin.

Blake Corum played like a man possessed! Loved his effort and level of performance tonight.

In my opinion, MSU should have kicked FG to tie the game up at halftime at 10 then go for it on 4TH Down. 2ND half was all Michigan and they took control of the game MSU knew that they were going to lose the game.
