Not really, the bottom three teams have equal odds. At this point it appears the Pistons being in that ignominious trio is a slam dunk...pun intended.

I'd still like more separation between us and Charlotte before declaring that a forgone conclusion. Last night's loss helps the cause.

Charlotte has won five of their last six; they seem to be accommodating ya.

Dwane Casey is so full of shit; he's praising Wiseman to indirectly kiss Weaver's ass in hopes of keeping his job.

Clown Casey cannot be shitcanned fast enough once the current season ends.

9-game losing streak. 0-11 against their division, 6-33 in conference play.

5 wins in 2023. Last win was against San Antonio February 10th.

They did it again! They played competitive to the last second and lost. This team is making EVERYONE happy -- me, the tankniks, EVERYONE!

Losing streak is over.... Time to start a new one.

I don't care what anyone says, Wiseman is a keeper! He had 18 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocks playing only half a game and intimidates down low. This Omoruyi guy is playing up a storm; we may see him next year.

While watching Stan Van Gundy announce an NCAA game yesterday, I wondered how his Piston record compared to Dwayne Casey's.

Van Gundy (4 years): .463 winning percentage before being let go.
Casey (5 years): .320 winning percentage with no apparent sign that he will be let go.

Recall that SVG left because the GM stripes were taken away, and while he reportedly was given an offer to stay on board as head coach only, he was not interested.

The mainstream media slappies, including some nationally, repeatedly touted Casey's young player development abilities. The results?
- Killian Hayes right now cannot hit the broad side of a barn (he will never morph into a great player).
- Saddiq Bey, who had a great rookie season and decent second season, this season played so poorly that he was traded.
- Cade Cunningham was shooting poorly from 3 pt range before injuring himself (yet again) and was a turnover machine.
- Beef Stew's game has shown little progression other than adding a so-so long range shot. He's not that great of an on the ball defender. He also got hurt - yet again.
- The young core plays lax defense.

Let's hope Casey the Clown doesn't get a chance to ruin Jaden Ivey.

Casey needs to be shitcanned and the training and conditioning staff need to be shitcanned the moment the season ends. I'll shed no tears, either, if Troy Weaver is shown the door, but I'm willing to give him one extra season to prove his worth.

While Beef Stew took more 3PA's this season (about 1.3 per game compared to 0.3 per game in each prior season), his 3pt percentage has been near 33% the entire time. So, his long range shooting really hasn't gotten any better, he's just been taking more of those shots.

If Wembenyama comes to town next year (lottery willing!) we'll be loaded with bigs! With Duren, Wiseman, Bagley...and Wemby!...Beef Stew may be relegated to spot duty. Someone's gotta go.

Killian is effective coming off the bench, which if he stays, he'll be doing next year. He proved as much last season. He's a good defender, something this team needs REAL bad!

Hayes should be nowhere near the starting lineup next year.
