I don't know. Even at their worst, State loves ruining Michigan's season if they can. They'll come out strong. Michigan's tends to stink it up with MSU, also. That said, I'm gonna go with Michigan 35, MSU 17.

I won't make a prediction, but I hope to see a fairly stress-free Michigan win with no extracurricular bullshit from either side.

Normally I agree with your comment. But I feel like Harbaugh has them in a different place and all that has gone badly for the Spartans I'm not thinking MSU has it in them this go around.

Michigan hasn't has a truly "easy" win in East Lansing since 1991 - with possible exception of 1997 - all other wins have been 1-score type games at some point in the 4th quarter....
even that awful 3-9 2016 MSU team didn't get blown out by a VERY good U-M team...

just a historical note

There is no historical context to base this game on. Perhaps the best Michigan team...... ever, and the most fucked MSU squad....in a long time. The student base is beyond discouraged, so I expect a H*** UM group in attendance. Unless Michigan completely shits the bed and turns the ball over 6 times, this bitch will be over at halftime. Jimmy will be sure to run up the score for AP points, and because he can.

Prepare for the worst, Spartans. And know basketball season is close.

The NCAA does not mention sign-stealing as a specific infraction. Indeed, it is not mentioned by name and is technically not an offense except in cases where teams steal opponents' signs through electronic means.

...

In 1994, in-person scouting was prohibited by the NCAA in all cases beyond those two aforementioned exceptions. It was instituted as a cost-saving measure for programs that were paying to send assistant coaches and various staff members to future opponents’ games.
The NCAA is a clown show.

I will not argue that fact. However, this blurb is a bit telling:

U.S. Integrity, a Las Vegas firm that monitors the betting market, sent out an alert to its sportsbook clients regarding the Michigan controversy Thursday, ESPN confirmed.

NCAA are indeed a bunch of fools, but if Vegas is involved, there could be more to the story

On an unrelated note, I heard Michigan is wearing special helmets this weekend:

On another unrelated note, I will be at the Big House most of the day while Michigan is in Lansing.
Riverview and Taylor JV are playing there.

Jim Harbaugh's attorney, Tom Mars, on news of the sign stealing investigation.

“I’ve spoken to Coach Harbaugh about what we’ve read in the sports news and if NCAA rules allowed him to make a public statement I am sure he would deny having any knowledge of what was reported.”
:lol :lol :lol

"He can't officially make a statement, but here is his statement." AMAZING!

Harbaugh and Manuel actually did both make statements this evening:

Jim's statement is strongly worded. Warde's is feckless as per usual.
