Seattle wins but Detroit loses
Seattle loses bur Detroit wins
Seattle loses, Detroit almost wins but some funky call gets made in the Packers favor thay deflates the whole thing
Seattle loses, Detroit wins, they get federal "pound me in the ass prison" beaten in the first round

Bullshit refs.

Re: Detroit Lions 2022
They didn’t call ANYTHING after awhile… even obvious stuff like that taunting on the interception…
Re: Detroit Lions 2022
I'm not one to complain about officiating, but that was some of the worst officiating I've seen since the replacement refs some years back. And it went both ways - there were 2 missed PI calls against the Rams earlier in the game.
That was an embarrassment for NFL officials. Lucky for the refs Seattle missed that FG at the end of regulation, effectively nullifying all the bad calls.
One thing I haven't seen anybody talk about, and that was the absolutely horrible decision for the Rams to call their 2nd timeout with about 2:20 left in regulation. Had they not called that, the clock would have run down to the 2 minute warning before they even got the ball back, and then they would have had much more control over the clock on their final possession since Seattle was already out of timeouts.

I am rooting for the Lions so my Hawks go to the playoffs. Pete is a legendary coach.
Seahawks beat the Lions this year, there are no ties per se for the playoffs.

Re: Detroit Lions 2022
If the Lions wind up losing, I'll be happy the Rams lost, since that loss will help the Lions' draft standing.
Even with their own postseason hopes dashed, I'd still love to see the Lions finish the season with a big win at Lambeaux to screw over the Packers.

Agreed. Seattle will be obliterated by San Francisco next week anyways more than likely… I want to see us have a winning record. The season will have been a success for the vast improvement alone.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 8:05 pmIf the Lions wind up losing, I'll be happy the Rams lost, since that loss will help the Lions' draft standing.

Seattle will be the worst team in the playoffs if they get there. Lots of teams happy they won today and put the Lions out. Nobody wanted to play Detroit.
Re: Detroit Lions 2022
Really? They all feared Detroit?

Matt still called it. 8-9 wins this year which, earlier, I thought he had a drinking problem. Even if they won 5 games I would have been impressed. Alas, no Cinderella season. Day late and a dollar short.

Re: Detroit Lions 2022
The fact that a former Lion made the play to end their season after tonight is simply poetic and further proof of the curse.
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

The officiating in the GB - DET game has been atrocious.
GB has gotten away with pass interference, and moments ago, Rodgers was already losing control of the ball before he was downed by contact. That should've been ruled a fumble.
