B1G is significantly better than the SEC...
Completely disagree.

Auburn, Tennessee, Kentucky, and possibly even Arkansas are all better teams than anyone in the Big Ten.

At least 1 of those teams will go farther than any BT team this tourney.

I agree that Texas A&M got completely robbed. Also agree that the RPI is giving too much extra weight to the Big Ten.

The top of the SEC is better than the top of the Big Ten. Once you get beyond the top 3 or 4 schools in each conference, the Big Ten gets the nod from me.

SEC has 6 teams in the tournament and the BT has 9. I'm willing to wager anybody that the SEC will have more teams in the Sweet 16 and/or the FF. All winnings go to charity of the winners choice.

Taking a closer look today at the bubble teams, I think that Texas A&M absolutely got robbed. They won 8 of their last 10 including 3 of 4 against Top 25 teams and finished with an overall record of 23-12.

Michigan, on the other hand, won 5 of their last 10, including 2 of 6 against Top 25 teams and finished with an overall record of 17-14.

Then, not only did Michigan make the tournament not being even one of the bottom 4 teams to get in, but Texas A&M was named the FOURTH replacement team, meaning that the selection committee determined that not only was Michigan the better team, but that there were at least SEVEN teams separating Michigan from A&M.

I never complain about the selection committee, but this one just reeks.
It's about viewership $$$. The selection committee knows Texas A&M doesn't get the views Michigan does. With the exception of Auburn, Kentucky, and Tennessee, SEC fans don't care about basketball like they do football. Florida was on that list, but their basketball program is terrible.

True. 2 big name schools who don't belong and got in on hype, not results.

I was surprised Michigan made it they'll lose to CSU as this isn't a good Michigan team. I thought IU was in shouldn't have played the play-in game which should've been Michigan in my opinion.

Michigan as mediocre and inconsistent as they have been have pulled off a big win or two.
I wouldn't be shocked if they win the first game.
I would be shocked if they win two games.

You spelled "moron" wrong.

It was the word "shocked" that prompted the post.

Tell your wife she got the raw end of the deal.

So, Michigan beat Colorado State in the first round. Will they win the second round?

Tennessee and Kentucky out, and Auburn is on the ropes. Pretty wild.
