Harbaugh has every right to go to the pros to try and reach for a Super Bowl, and/or get the best contract he can. He has turned the UM program around and taken them to the playoff 2 years in a row. I don't think he owes the university a thing.

But he's a liar. That's why there is a Level 1 violation hanging over his head. And when you say "100%" you are committed to Michigan, and go back on your word in less than a year, you cheapen your reputation for one, and more importantly, deceive young recruits who put their trust behind you.
You're completely wrong on the second paragraph on all levels. Warde Manuel has been an issue - his new boss may need to make a decision on him if he doesn't change his ways.
How is he wrong exactly?
How is he right?

He let Beilein walk. He let Bakich walk. He let the Pearson thing extend months past when it had to (arguably a fire-able offense). He's jerking Harbaugh around. Hell, I'm a Juwan supporter, but he's not currently lighting the world on fire. His other basketball hire, Kevin Ollie, won big and then spectacularly flamed out.
How is he wrong on Harbaugh is what I meant…

Harbaugh is 25-3 in the last two seasons after an extensive program rebuild. To not be doing everything to make him feel appreciated is dereliction of duty on Warde's part.

Letting Beilein walk without much resistance is indeed a big blemish on Manuel's track record.

I agree Manuel needs to do more to appease Harbaugh, but I'm not going to hold Harbaugh harmless, either.

SPORTS ILLUSTRATED: Michigan’s Decision to Tweet Jim Harbaugh’s Recent Statement Backfires

"The back-to-back non-updates were enough to rile up the CFB community, considering Harbaugh essentially said he supported Ono’s support and nothing more. And, as you might expect, the Wolverines quickly found out their attempt to show solidarity with their coach backfired in the worst way as onlookers began to wonder what the reasoning was for either tweet."

I knew it wasn't going to be a 1-year thing with Jim Harbaugh going to the NFL his name will always come up for NFL job openings, I think the Panthers seem to be interested in Jim I don't know if they have set up an interview with him. I agree it's both Warde & Jim to blame for the issues they have at Michigan, Jim can be hard to work with why if he returns to the NFL will only last 3 or 4 years wherever he goes in my opinion, and go somewhere else in the NFL if he keeps winning at the NFL level.

WOTS is the Broncos want Payton so Jimmy will probably be back in AA, at least until next year.

Doesn't surprise me; they'd be fools not to hire Payton if he's available.

I can see Payton going to Dallas after they fire McCarthy.

Sean Payton lives in Texas and Jerry Jones won't tolerate a loss to Tampa Bay.

Should I believe for some reason that the cowboys are suddenly gonna make a playoff run? Jerry Jones has a long history of not getting much for all the fanfare…

I realize " not getting much for all the fanfare…" is rather subjective.
But as much as I despise Jerry Jones and "America's Team" he has 3 Super Bowl wins in his 33 years. Not New England stuff for sure but hey I live 40 minutes from Ford Field.

Jerry might want him, but Payton would never work for Jones.

Sean Payton was a Cowboy assistant coach when Parcells was HC.

Im still going with Payton to Dallas.

I don't see it. Payton can pick his spot and have as much control as he wants. I don't think he wants to worry about Jones' meddling.

I notice a pattern with Jerry Jones. The second a head coach wants more control of the team, they get canned. Look at Jimmy Johnson. I expect Payton to go elsewhere. Jones will only hire the more passive head coaches.
