I don't believe this is anything more than clickbait. I would like to see Harbaugh shut down the speculation AGAIN.
Your beloved hack John U. Bacon seems to think there is something there.

He actually covered all bases in his tweets. He's also a best selling author, hardly a hack.
Being a best selling author doesn't really mean all that much.

"Although no one knows the future, I think I will be coaching Michigan next year," Harbaugh told the Queen City News today.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The arrival of the Michigan football offseason has brought with it renewed speculation that Jim Harbaugh might depart the program for the NFL.

Those are rumors that new U-M President Santa Ono is well aware of. Speaking to The Michigan Insider ahead of Wednesday night’s men’s basketball game, Ono said he will ultimately be involved in any negotiations to keep Harbaugh in Ann Arbor — though Athletic Director Warde Manuel is the individual most responsible in those conversations.

While Ono deferred any specifics to Manuel, he gave the following comment about Harbaugh to The Michigan Insider:

“He’s a great coach. I hope we can keep him.”

Ono has been an outspoken supporter of Michigan Athletics, and he has endorsed the role of athletics since his introductory press conference in July.

Maybe the Lions can fire their coach and hire him. He wouldn’t even have to move.

“As I stated in December, while no one knows what the future holds, I expect that I will be enthusiastically coaching Michigan in 2023. I have spoken with President (Santa) Ono and Athletic Director Warde Manuel and appreciate their support of me and our program. Our mission as Wolverines continues, and we are preparing for the 2023 season with great passion and enthusiasm. As our legendary coach Bo Schembechler said, 'Those Who Stay Will be Champions.'"

Quite a non-answer on both the NFL coaching and The House Speaker jobs.

Also, as legendary coach Bo Schembechler said when he received numerous complaints from his players being sexually assaulted by Dr. Robert Anderson: "Toughen up."

Painfully so... But it would mark the first time they hired a somebody other than Caldwell.

He didn't 'fail'. He did not want an NFL job at this time.

I am elated with this development! He's also said this isn't going to be an annual thing!
Bump.

Warde needs to stop pussyfooting around and make Jim the highest paid coach in the B1G.

So we can beat Ohio State and get crushed by the SEC Team of the Day?

Oh, so it IS all about the money. All that bullshit Harbaugh was giving us last year about that NFL dalliance being a one-time thing and he's gonna be a Michigan man for life and "unbridled enthusiasm" and all the other shit was a bunch of crap.
