Biting knee Caps! 0-9 (Realistic 0-10 as there should be no ties in the NFL)

When I was flipping through channels I saw they were within a field goal of tying the game, and my very first thought was "are they going to tie it up by the end of the game and be the ONLY team ever to be 0-9-2?? Is it possible for them to go 0-9-9??

Yes until they add an 18th game. :blink

Or 1-9 if there were no ties.

I get all the hubbub about running a draw play on third-and-18 (or whatever it was), but I've gotta think Campbell knew what a pathetic passing attack he had and merely thought the odds were better of letting his defense get a three-and-out. Alas....

Yeah, he's still learning.

I think the Lions will come out raising hell and biting kneecaps on Thanksgiving against da Andy Dalton-led Bears.

I could have put a kid with a Fisher Price headset out there and even he knows you don't run on 3rd and 18. He's a lost cause.

LMAO!!!

A million holding penalties. Too many men on the field. Horrible time out management.

Another walk off FG loss for the Lions.

Nuff said.

I remember a game WAAAAY back in the '60s when the Pussycats had three or four holding penalties on consecutive plays; I believe it was in the Milt Plum/Karl Sweetan days. Van Patrick and/or Bob Reynolds was doing the play-by-play. I didn't think there'd ever be another time evoking that ugly memory. :barf

I predicted 17-14, so I was close.

Holy crap...Lions win with a walk off touchdown!

The Lions led most of the game but allowed the Vikings to take a 23 to 21 lead with just over 1:45 to play.

With no timeouts, Goff and Lions methodically drove down field, got out of bounds most of the time to preserve time, and narrowly escaped two near interceptions to throw a game winning TD pass on 4th down from about the 10 yard line as time expired.

Talk about luck! Campbell going for it on fourth-and-short deep in his own end with the lead may have been the most boneheaded coaching decision I've seen from this team since Morningweg took the wind in sudden death OT!

Hark! This time the Lions were the beneficiaries of the opposition's "prevent-from-winning" defense. Incredible!

I think it was one of the greatest wins in the history of sports. Only the 1980 Olympic hockey win over the Soviets comes close.

Seriously, Zimmer might be dumber than Campbell. Should have run 45 seconds off the clock and kicked a FG. If not, like you say moldy he should have brought pressure on Goff. Even Goff can hit a receiver if he has time.

Is Minnesota's field goal kicker good? If so - then I am inclined to agree.

What down was it when Minnesota threw for the TD? I've already forgotten.
