https://www.mlb.com/gameday/tigers-vs-m ... ame=634115 Tigers should have had an error in the bottom of the 9th inning though!!! The 8th NO hitter in Tigers history.

A nice surprise; there were about 500 fans in the stands...LOL.

Gotta love the command, poise, and efficiency Turnbull displayed on the last batter he faced. Three pitches, three strikes!

Second no-no suffered by Seattle in just two weeks' time. That might be an MLB record.

This team seems to be resilient this year. This reminds me of the start of the rebuild AJ Hinch did in Houston.

If you're referring to the relay throw to first on the attempted double-play, the rules state that you can't "anticipate" a double-play; i.e., a wild throw on the relay doesn't count as an error if the first out was made successfully. It's ruled as just a force-out at second base. Even so, the no-hitter would still be intact.

Only two bases-on-balls in a no-hitter is quite impressive for Turnbull. What's not so impressive, as mentioned above, is that it's the second time in a month that the Mariners have been no-hit!

Correct. It's a fielder's choice.

The next night Corey Kluber of The Yankees had a no hitter against the Rangers. That makes 6 this season.

And Kluber's no hitter is getting more publicity than Turnbull's no hitter.
