LMAO - the losses to terrible teams on the road keep piling up.

If you consistently lose to terrible teams, then guess what? YOU are a terrible team, too.

Well, they took two out of three in Minnesota.

That said, that bullpen is still nothing short of DREADFUL.

But their kicking team is excellent. That field goal made the difference today. :)

Both pitching staffs are going to have PTSD.

As Jack Morris said, there's probably a direct connection between all those runs scored to how many times these two teams have played each other so far this season. No one is fooling anyone else with pitches.

This crappy team almost blew a TEN RUN LEAD!

Has that ever happened in MLB history?

Answer - yes it has. About four times. Among 100,000+ contests. The largest ever comeback win was by St. Louis against the NY Giants in 1952, who blew an 11 to 0 lead.

Almost.....but they didn't. Almost pregnant isn't pregnant either.

40-31 since early May. I'm happy with the way this team has been playing. There is some real future in the farm system too.

Why not mention the record that Detroit DID set? They're the first team in MLB history to survive a 7 home-run deficit and still win. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/tige ... n-and-win/

"Better late than pregnant."

Interesting stat.

And the night before was the first time in MLB history where two opposing catchers hit grand slams in the same game.

This has to be one of the worst outfield collisions I've ever seen. YIKES!

What if He had NOT caught the ball? Inside the parker?

Definitely, unless Hill somehow had the wherewithal to actually retrieve the ball and heave it toward the infield. The ball looked as if it wouldn't have fallen far from him. It was most impressive that he actually hung on. :o

The Tigers are really shitting their pants as the season is winding down.

My start of season prediction of 73 wins, which seemed too low thirty days ago, is now looking like a very real possibility.

With a tough schedule the rest of the way, you may be right. However, the Tigers do seem to bring their A-game against the tougher teams. Limiting the innings of the young starters won't help as the bullpen will have to overwork and overperform.

So, Hill and Badoo were running for another pop fly, and instead of running into each other, they let it drop.

'You take it' . 'No, you take it', 'No, no, you got'. 'No,No, No, it's yours'.

PLOP. The guy is on first.
