Keep the name, bring back Chief Wahoo, and shoot the guy in the back row pounding that hideous incessant tom-tom.

And....the Indians name is no more.
Cleveland's baseball team plans to drop the word "Indians" from its name, the New York Times reports, citing three people familiar with the decision.
The team doesn't have a plan for its new name yet, and could use the Indians name for the 2021 season before shifting away from it, one of the people said. Another option could be to proceed without a replacement name and come up with one in the future, two of the people said. The plans could be announced as soon as this week, according to the report.

How about the sneaky things Big Business Advertising uses to rename things?
The CLEVELAND ENGINES.
Here's the logo for the new baseball caps.
Takes the place of THIS LOGO. Many won't even notice the change.

Actually, it seems that the MLB had previously trademarked the name Cleveland Citizens for sales of apparel, etc. back on August 17th. Sometimes that happens, just like in radio how they might buy a domain for a suspected station name but not use it, and it's just in case. But who knows?
