You know that is exactly what these fuckers are gonna do. Wind up picking 2 or even 3. Jacksonville will get the top pick and it'll turn out to be a career pick while we get a bust. It just wouldn't be the Lions any other way.

It just wouldn’t be the lions without charting new territory:
According to CBS Sports, It is the first time in NFL history a team with one victory or fewer defeated a team with 10 or more wins by double-digits.

I feel blood squirting from my ears.

They lose when they need to win and win when they need to lose.

As I've said for years: Damn Yankees...fuckin' Lions.

Thanks for giving Arizona loss #4! Now if the Bucs can avoid tripping over their own dicks against the Saints tonight...

Fuck draft position. Just win, baby!

If Hutchinson or Thibodeaux are so head-and-shoulders above the rest, the Lions have the draft capital to move up...which would be a mistake, IHMO.

Losing Fournette for at least the regular season is rough, especially when you're replacing him with a presumably washed up Bell. We need him to have a career renaissance, but he's got a lot of miles on him.

It was a great win, and I agree winning this one game (in view of the opponent) was more important than draft positioning.

That said, I want this team to win very few if any additional games from here on out. The Lions need to be able to draft as highly as possible.

The fact a number of normal starters did not play due to injury or COVID yet the results on the field were much better than usual tempts me to question the coaching staff's talent assessment abilities.

Yeah, because all their high draft picks through the years have led to so much playoff success for this team :lol

Sorry, but I completely disagree here. They need to play to win, every week.

I think the Cowboys drafter Micha Parsons with the eleventh pick. I'd settle for a player near his caliber.

Lions are less likely to screw up a top five overall pick. Don't get me wrong - it's happened plenty thru the years.

Megatron, Suh, Stafford were all good picks.

The question as always is if they can do anything with it.

A winning culture goes a long way in changing the trajectory. Look at the 1996 Bucs schedule and results and then the next 6 years.
