College Football 23-24
Re: College Football 23-24
So on one drive, it looked like Edwards scored for Michigan, no review. Next play, Corum scores, but it is ruled short no review. On the third attempt, there was no doubt. Next drive, McCarthy CLEARLY crosses the plane inside the pylon and they review.

Only you would whine about a 52-10 win.

To be clear, I was irritated that they were wasting time on an unnecessary review on a game that really had no business being a night game, when it was a clear TD.

I agree that it appeared Corum broke the plane on his first try and was very surprised there was no review.
LMAO at Miami!!! That was great. I like how their fans began throwing objects onto the field after GT's game winning TD; real classy.
The worst coaching decision in the history of football still belongs to Marty Mornhinweg, though. What Miami did might be the worst decision in the history of division I collegiate football.

Were we rooting for throw it out of bounds and kick a field goal after maximizing the time off the clock?MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sun Oct 08, 2023 8:32 amI agree that it appeared Corum broke the plane on his first try and was very surprised there was no review.

NBC has to fill that time slot with a BT game and Fox had dibs on PSU-OSU. What game should they have chosen?Matt wrote: ↑Mon Oct 09, 2023 7:19 pmNo reason for this: https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sport ... 117797007/
That said, I would prefer the game be played at 5 a.m. and broadcast by the Cartoon Network.

It was an expression, beemer. About a team that is despised fairly universally across the entire state of Michigan.
You're right, they don't suck, I think they are vastly overrated.
Feel better?

Colorado was up 29-0 on Stanford at home - Lost in double overtime.
That was 1-4 Stanford, who lost to Sacramento State.
Biggest blown lead in school history. Next game for Colorado is October 28th at UCLA.

Whenever a team scores a TD on Michigan, the Wolverines' defense seems to respond by cranking up intensity by about 20 notches.
Saw that a week ago in Minneapolis and saw it again today in Ann Arbor. No excuse for Michigan not to recover Indiana's fumble late in the fourth on what was the Hoosiers' final possession (one of 3 Michigan players simply could've landed on the football), but who really cares. Was very pleased to see Indiana held to single digits scoring for the game. Michigan scored 52 points unanswered following Indiana's early TD.
I just saw the scoring summary for the game in New Jersey. I had tuned into the game briefly to see Rutgers close the deficit to 3. I see Rutgers scored the game winning TD with 8:28 left on the clock, and neither team scored after that. (Rutgers must've missed either an extra point or 2 pt conversion attempt.)
