When you tease point spreads, you generally like to tease above key numbers, like 3 and 7. This weekend is set up for that. What I am doing is actually a historically successful proposition. So much so, it actually has its own name and is called a "Wong teaser", you can look it up. I just hope it's Wight and not Wong.
Acceptable registrations in the queue through June 3 at 5:00p ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

So we all want SF vs. Cincinnati in Glendale, right?

Re: NFL Playoffs
Yeah I understand that strategy, but my confidence of both underdogs avoiding a double-digit loss isn't particularly high.Honeyman wrote: ↑Sat Jan 28, 2023 3:12 pmWhen you tease point spreads, you generally like to tease above key numbers, like 3 and 7. Re: NFL Playoffs
I'm more interested in the spreads, but I honestly don't have a team I hate this year. I would like to see Cincy win, only because they are the only one of the teams that hasn't won a SB. But I like Mahomes and think KC fans are some of the best in the NFL.

Re: NFL Playoffs
I would say that is a bit of a misnomer. I would argue the spread was just a number to get half the money on each side from the betting public.
I would argue Vegas didn't care who won or by how much unless its a rare situation where their books weren't balanced. Something i doubt happens at an event as big as the Superbowl.

Kansas City is a place that I've been that far exceeded my expectations. I'm not a fan of Andy Reid though...

Great BBQ and people seemed very cool. City was nice, but I was there in the late spring. Reid's not my favorite, but I don't really dislike him. He won't win father of the year.Matt wrote: ↑Sat Jan 28, 2023 3:39 pmKansas City is a place that I've been that far exceeded my expectations. I'm not a fan of Andy Reid though...

At some point, the son's poor choices no longer reflect on the father.

Re: NFL Playoffs
Where are you getting these lines? I heard SF +2.5 and Cincy 1.5 from ESPN.
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

Those are the teased lines. +6 for each team.MotorCityRadioFreak wrote: ↑Sat Jan 28, 2023 7:48 pmWhere are you getting these lines? I heard SF +2.5 and Cincy 1.5 from ESPN.
When you bet a tease, you get each team with an additional 6 points. But both teams have to cover with the teased spread to win the bet, and you pay a premium (-120 to win 100).

Damn, I was hoping for Mr. irrelevant in the Super Bowl.

Hindsight is 20/20. If you would have warned me that my starting qb was going out in the 1st quarter, it might have helped.
You also told me to tease the over....
.....how'd that work out?
That's why they call it gambling. You bet as much as you can afford to lose.
Now I've teased Cincy to the over to chase....always a brilliant strategy.

Re: NFL Playoffs
What a stupid, stupid penalty by the Bungles in the final 15 seconds of their game. That game likely would've been headed to OT if not for that moronic late hit on Mahomes.
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.
