Crosby is one of those rock stars that is surprising that he lived as long as he did. He actually predicted his own demise for a few years. He also had an advice column in Rolling Stone Magazine and had a very active Twitter account.

I loved CSNY's music and their harmonies. Southern Cross is one of my favorite songs of theirs.

May he R.I.P.

One of my favorite Crosby tunes from his Byrds days before being kicked out:

"The primary purpose of a liberal education is to make one's mind a pleasant place in which to spend one's leisure."

"Southern Cross" is a great song, but David Crosby isn't singing on the track. Stephen Stills and Graham Nash brought in Timothy B. Schmit for additional vocals, as Crosby hadn't reunited with the pair at the time.
