Savoy Brown was undoubtedly Simmonds' band, but it lost me when characterful blues vocalist Chris Youlden departed and three other members went on to rock stardom forming Foghat.

Only drummer Roger Earl is the original member of Foghat!! The others are R.I.P.'s. Saw them at Bay City's Pig Gig Festival back then.
