A blonde beauty with an even more beautiful voice, she was the lead singer of the Poppy Family (which included her then-husband Terry), who had hits such as "Which Way You Goin' Billy" and "Where Evil Grows," and later went solo, scoring Canadian hits like "You Don't Know What Love Is," "I Thought of You Again" and "Anna Marie." She was 73 and it's being reported her death was due to kidney disease, with which she had been diagnosed several years ago.

The Poppy Family "Good Friends?" (1972) reminds me of "Grammar Rock" (Schoolhouse Rock) ABC Saturday morning song "Nouns" from late 1974!!

The remake of the Wildwoods "No Good To Cry" (from late 1971) reminds me of Swedish duo Roxette (the late Marie F.). Also "Which Way You Goin' Billy" was also done by Marie Osmond (from Donny & Marie Osmond 1976 album "New Season"). Susan Jacks wanted the late country singer Tammy Wynette to do "Tryin'" (from late 1970) BUT she refused to do it & Susan's Poppy Family did the song instead.
