The Dixie Dregs (with guitarist Steve Morse, later of Deep Purple) "Ice Cakes" (instrumental from 1978 "What If"). This song reminds me of violinist Jean Luc Ponty but it is NOT!! Heard this song during The Weather Channel breaks back in 1989, 1990 & 1991 at the first 1 minute!! I do have the CD "20th Century Masters: The Millennium Collection" & that song is on there!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZX-ZNmM ... regs-Topic

Steve Morse was also in Kansas for a couple of years.
