With Bill Withers, Helen Reddy, Mac Davis and now Johnny Nash gone, four artists who had #1 hits in 1972 have passed this year.

Hopefully we can sequester Neil Diamond, Don McLean, Gilbert O'Sullivan, Melanie, Roberta Flack and Al Green someplace safe... :(
