Emitt Rhodes dies at 70
Singer songwriter Emitt Rhodes of The Merry-Go-Round ("Live" (# 63 in May) & "You're A Very Lovely Woman" (# 94 in September) on A&M Records in 1967) & his solo work for Dunhill ABC (1970 - 1973) including the song "Fresh As A Daisy" peaking at # 54 (Hot 100) in February of 1971 has died at 70 years old. His comeback & final album "Rainbow Ends" was released in March of 2016 (with a bearded Emitt)!! Also Linda Ronstadt did the remake of "(She's A) Very Lovely Woman" which peaked at # 70 in February of 1971 as a Capitol 45 single & no album. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emitt_Rhodes
