Fountains Of Wayne front man Adam Schlesinger has died of COVD19 related Illness ate age 52. They were mostly known for Stacy's Mom.

Schlesinger was an insanely talented musician and songwriter. He won three Emmy awards, a Grammy and was nominated for an Academy award for his songwriting for "That Thing You Do!" as well as Tony and Golden Globe noms.
Those not familiar with FOW work other than "Stacy's Mom" would do well to give the entire album that single appeared on "Welcome Interstate Managers" a listen all the way through. Really some top-notch crafted songs.
