Songs About Getting Used To Home Cooking

Post by Ben Zonia » Tue Mar 24, 2020 5:53 pm

Those of us sheltering at home may be adapting to a lot more home cooking. These songs came to mind, even though I've liked our home cooking. Stay with the tried and true, though and don't get too fancy and adventuresome.

By an under appreciated crossover artist.

Hot Dog / Led Zeppelin
Bread And Butter / The Newbeats, (ok it's not the most well known song in the world but it's not exactly obscure.

"T-Bone" by Neil Young, a song with the most profound lyrics ever.

Got mashed potatoes
Got mashed potatoes
Got mashed potatoes
Ain't got no T-Bone
Ain't got no T-Bone

I saw Greg Brown in College. He played North Michigan's Jamrich Auditorium in 1990, (the building is no longer there.)

If you still have a potato masher, you can actually mash the potatoes, and not get the premashed ones. The packaged garlic mashed potatoes are good though.
