Short-lived Canadian grunge(?) band Rusty in the 90s had a minor radio hit with "California".
Wax had a minor hit with a different, unrelated song of the same name. The video was more highly acclaimed than the song. It featured a man on fire chasing a bus. Real fire, utilizing a stuntman.
Little Feat had "Texas Twister".
Stevie Ray Vaughan had "Texas Flood".
