The idiosyncracies of the Billboard Year End Chart are really shown in their chart. "Sherry" and "Big Girls Don't Cry" were both #1 for 5 weeks and neither made that chart, as their weeks straddled the survey period, which went to early November, 1962 and as it took a while to compile and publish.

Is THAT where they got the idea for the 486-SX?

Same (x, y, z), different (t)

That is true, Billboard is not a reliable source in my opinion, By the way these charts that I put together hold no survey value they’re just random picks of that year. I do however go through old playlists that the station had back then from Shows that were called “The Class Reunion Weekends” and “The Rewind Lunch”(1996-1998)The entire station playlist covered 1962- 1979 so it really wasn’t what they called Traditional Oldies which covered 1955- 1974.
