Re: Big 95.5 Chicago
While I agree that Big 95.5 might be dead man walking, you're forgetting that iHM already owns a gold-based AC station in Chicago, 93.9 Lite FM.

Lite FM's playlist is much closer to Detroit's 98.7 than Detroit's 100.3.
If 95.5's classic country weekends garner decent ratings, I would expect the playlist during the remainder of the week to be retooled.
If Country is ever ditched, look for 95.5 to go Classic Rock, Mainstream Rock or Hot AC. A Hot AC format would give iHM the same setup in Chicago that it currently enjoys in Dallas, Los Angeles and San Francisco (i.e. one CHR, one traditional AC, and one Hot AC).
What's interesting is subsequent to 93.9 going much softer & older, competitor 100.3 WSHE has gone much more upbeat. Each station seems to be benefiting from their respective changes.

Paul Woods reminds me a bit of the Swedish Chef from the Muppets when he speaks!

A cameo for WMET perhaps?
