Real turned out to be a fake. Classic hip is gone and is, a fad format comming to an end in a lot of places. Rumor is soft AC.

It bugs me that anything "throwback" or "alternative" isn't lasting in many markets. Bounce was great because it was an outlet for those of us raised in the 90s to have our own "classic" station. Instead of classic rock for the 90s crowd, they're just adding Nirvana and Pearl Jam to already-classic stations. It would be nice if our generation had a station that clicked for us. I wonder what would happen if they brought back the "Channel X" concept but the playlist stayed the same. Could that work as a classic hits station, or whatever the hell it would be called?
