Statistically, Boeing has been no worse this year than in prior years, just more hype and press. The whole aviation industry is incredibly safe, but more more folks die in smaller aircraft than the ones Boeing manufactures.Ben Zonia wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 10:49 amNo doubt negligence is a factor with Boeing and just about any other manufacturers of anything.
But there just seem to be too many incidents in a short period of time to be statistically possible. Like a 100 year event, like a six sigma event almost every day. Sabotage and terrorism need to be investigated.
And what about those top heavy looking cruise liners? It looks like another Titanic like event could happen. They said the Titanic was unsinkable too.

A second whistleblower who identified engineering problems at the company that supplied Boeing with airliner fuselages died on Monday, CBS News has learned, after suffering from a fast-spreading infection.
Joshua Dean was a quality inspector at Spirit AeroSystems, which builds the bulk of the 737 Max for Boeing. Dean raised concerns in October 2022 about misdrilled holes on a rear section of the plane that is necessary to maintain cabin pressure during flight.
Attorneys for Dean confirmed his death. He was 45.
